Mondays in Summer

I got the print outs last Friday. And I could not choose which ones we wanted framed. Here are a few of the shots that are close to my heart. From the hundreds, more than half turned out to be personal favorites.

Enjoying my Monday with a lot of ♥

Hopeful. Thankful. Happy.

I woke up before sunrise and for the first time in so many months, I turned on the TV. It was tuned to a local channel and at that moment, they are featuring businesses run from home. Just my luck, they're showing cupcakes. Talk about starting the day hopeful :)

The past weeks, I started writing down the things I am thankful and grateful for. It's one way of affirming the good life and keeping the negativity of the world at a good distance.

*For ice cream days with my lil one and lola grandma.




Makes me feel proud that four generations of C women still leaving pretty trails.

* Summer Sun and splashes in our mini makeshift pool



* Beautiful mess of paints and a grinning Coco who just discovered hand painting





AND of course, what's a weekend without a good bake? Carrot and pumpkin loaf topped with cream cheese.



The good part? I finally was able to bake using squash and it turned out perfectly great!

Have a good one guys, work week may be just around the corner. But everyday can be weekends..

I wish for Summer already

Did I tell you I was able to book my little girl for her first pro photo shoot?? I DID. And I think he is one of the best photographers here too. I was thinking of not thinking too much about this. But every single time I see some dress, or come up with another crazy idea, or see my lil gurl I could just not help but think about it!

Obviously, I am more excited than my Coco is. It's going to be a mother-daughter portrait. And it's gonna be funky too. My neices and nephew are going to be in the shoot too, and I already have a good place in mind. :D What's more, I kinda like it to be something like an RL add. LOL.

I KNOW!

So for this Summer, this is one of my most favorite, looking forward thoughts.
